Dreaming San Marino Song Contest opens entries for 2026-2027 edition

Registrations are now open for the talent search that will select contenders for the San Marino Song Contest, deciding the country's Eurovision 2027 entrant.

Registrations are now open for the new edition of the Dreaming San Marino Song Contest, the talent development programme dedicated to emerging artists that aims to select the contenders for the San Marino Song Contest, the event that will choose the Republic of San Marino’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2027.

The initiative is organised by Media Evolution Srl in collaboration with the Secretariat of State for Tourism and San Marino RTV. Solo singers and groups can apply through the contest’s official website.

The selection process will begin with a free online eligibility assessment, during which candidates’ vocal and performance skills will be evaluated. Artists deemed suitable will then move on to in-person casting sessions, already scheduled for 9-10 October and 20-21 November 2026.

The journey will then continue with the Stage and Live Academy phases, designed as both selection rounds and opportunities for training and artistic growth.

To take part, applicants must have turned 16 by 30 September 2026, while registrations will remain open until 25 January 2027.

Details on how the semifinals and final of the San Marino Song Contest will be held will be announced in the coming months. The winner will represent the Republic of San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, set to take place in Bulgaria, though the host city and official dates of the event have yet to be confirmed.

San Marino’s musical season will also include the country’s participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, scheduled to take place in Malta on 24 October 2026.
