Three hundred thousand euros for greenery maintenance, the clearing of roadside and river embankments, and the upkeep of drainage ditches across the entire territory of San Marino. The State Public Works Authority (Azienda Autonoma di Stato per i Lavori Pubblici, AASLP) has published the tender for work scheduled in 2027.
The contract is divided into three territorial lots. The first, worth €85,858, covers Serravalle and part of Domagnano. The second, worth €93,145, includes the rest of Domagnano, Borgo Maggiore and Fiorentino. The third, worth €120,996, covers San Marino Città, Acquaviva, Chiesanuova, Montegiardino and Faetano.
The tender is also open to Italian companies, which may take part once they have completed the required procedures. Firms must be registered in San Marino’s Single Register of Suppliers, or have submitted an application before the bid deadline. Companies may compete for one or more lots.
Requirements include at least four staff members per lot, suitable equipment, ISO certifications for safety, quality and the environment, and an operational base with a warehouse within 30 kilometres of AASLP’s headquarters in Borgo Maggiore.
Work is set to begin on 15 March 2027 and will continue, indicatively, until November, with interventions scheduled according to weather conditions and the needs of the territory. Only work actually carried out will be paid for.
The contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest price for each lot. Bids must be submitted by 12 noon on Thursday, 3 December 2026, either in paper form at AASLP’s headquarters at Via 28 Luglio 50 in Borgo Maggiore, or through the certified electronic system set out in the tender notice.
The opening of bids is scheduled for the same day at 2pm. Requests for clarification must be sent by 30 November to segreteria@aaslp.sm.
