The PDCS has designated William Casali as its candidate for the office of Captain Regent of the Republic of San Marino.
The decision was taken unanimously by the Executive Board and the Council Group of the Sammarinese Christian Democratic Party (PDCS), ahead of the upcoming regency term.
“The Sammarinese Christian Democratic Party expresses great satisfaction with this choice and once again congratulates its Councillor on the nomination,” reads the brief statement released by the party.
Casali’s nomination comes alongside the one announced by the PSD for Gerardo Giovagnoli. The new Captains Regent will be called upon to hold the Supreme Magistracy for the term running from 1 October 2026 to 1 April 2027.
