The issue of gender-based violence and the data on cases recorded in the Republic returns to the centre of institutional debate in San Marino. On Wednesday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kursaal Congress Centre, the Council’s Foreign Affairs and Health Committees (Commissioni consiliari Affari esteri e Sanità) will meet in a joint session.
On the agenda is the continuation of the debate on the State Congress’s report concerning updated data on gender-based violence cases, launched following the approval of a motion during the session of the Grand and General Council (Consiglio Grande e Generale) on July 21.
The session will be open to the public, and lawyer Monia Mazza will take part as an expert. The meeting was called by the presidents of the two committees, Michele Muratori and Denise Bronzetti. Councillors who are not members of the two committees will also be allowed to attend the session.
