Futsal: Murata and Pennarossa chase fourth straight win as round four kicks off

Murata and Pennarossa are aiming for their fourth consecutive victory in the Sammarinese futsal championship. On Monday, Murata will take on Tre Penne in Fiorentino — still stuck on zero points after three defeats — in the second time slot of the evening. Pennarossa, meanwhile, will face Virtus at 10:00pm at the Multieventi: Michelotti’s side are looking for consistency after their win over Cailungo.

Opening the Fiorentino programme at 8:15pm will be La Fiorita-Folgore. Pietrangeli’s side remain unbeaten, with two wins and a draw; Folgore return to action after a rest round and a comfortable win over Tre Penne.

Once again this round, the outdoor pitch in Acquaviva will replace the Domagnano venue. At 8:15pm, Faetano and San Giovanni will face off, both coming off two straight defeats: the yellow-and-blues have three points, while the red-and-blacks are still searching for their first of the season. At 9:45pm, it will be the turn of Juvenes Dogana and Libertas, level on four points.

On Tuesday, at the Acquaviva gymnasium, Cosmos will try to secure a third straight win against Tre Fiori, who have so far collected two draws without a single victory.

The round will close with Domagnano-Cailungo on Thursday at 10:00pm, again at the Acquaviva gymnasium. Both sides have just one point and will be looking for a win to climb the table. Fiorentino have a bye this round.
