Olimpus wraps up an intense weekend, with several athletes taking center stage between Parma and Castenaso. The standout result came at the regional under-16 championships, where Alessio Lazzari claimed second place in the 5km race walk, earning the regional vice-champion title with a time of 29’57’’92.
On the track, Cristian Burgal Alfaro reached the final of the 100m hurdles in 15’’35, while Rodolfo Fagnini finished fifth in the 80m with a time of 9’’73. Also competing over the same distance were Stephane Maroncelli, Martina Poggiali and Ilaria Zannoni.
Burgal Alfaro also impressed in the long jump with a leap of 5.38 metres. In the same event, Annalisa Martelli reached 4.33 metres and Poggiali 3.85, while Yasmin Karoui cleared 2.40 metres in the pole vault.
In the 1,000 metres, strong performances came from Marvin Ronald Gatti, Greta Sarti and Chantal Mularoni. Rounding out the results from Parma were Rebecca Oppioli’s seventh place in the 300m hurdles and Ilaria Zannoni’s throw of 18.70 metres in the javelin.
Finally, at the Rossano Lelli Memorial in Castenaso, Stefano Polidori completed the 5,000 metres in 17’23’’13, finishing ahead of teammate Lorenzo Rastelli, who crossed the line in 18’06’’49.
