Scuderia San Marino is showing up in force at Rallylegend. The Titano-based motorsport outfit, affiliated with the Federazione Automobilismo Motociclismo Sammarinese (Fams), will be a leading presence at the 24th edition of the event, fielding numerous licensed drivers and co-drivers ready to set off from the Village Podium in the Multieventi Sport Domus car park.
Among the crews to watch is the all-female duo of Rachele Somaschini and Daiana Darderi, who will make their debut aboard the Lancia Ypsilon HF Rally2. The pair will also take part in the Memorial Bettega, scheduled for Sunday, where they will compete in the Rally2 category of the knockout-format challenge that revives the historic Area 48 event from the Bologna Motor Show.
Also taking part in the Memorial is Marco Bianchini, driving a Subaru Impreza WRX in the Group A category.
In the main event, Mirco Gabrielli will read pace notes for Filippo Baldinini in the Peugeot 207 S2000. Nicola Bonfè will team up with Massimo Bizzocchi, while Marco Bollini will be partnered by Alessandro Tura. Diego Cianfriglia and Mirko Mazzini will also be on the start line.
Both members of the Ercolani Volta family will compete: Enrico will drive the BMW 320 E1 alongside Daniele Conti, while Andrea will take the wheel of the Ford Escort RS with Matteo Roggia. Angelo Montanari will start with Gianni Amaducci, and Nicolas Pancotti with Diego Zanotti in the Renault Clio. The entry list also includes Mirko and Elisa Zanotti.
Car number 69 will be the Peugeot driven by Gilberto Pennachini and Alessandro Podeschi. Also competing are Luca Cortellazzi and Federico Busato, while Gabriele Pondini and Eraldo Righini will be paired respectively with Mattia Bartolucci and Daniele Grechi.
Davide Simoncini and Umberto Bollini will race in a Citroën C3. In the C4 class, Emanuele Mischi and Emanuele Tinazzi will line up in a Fiat Uno Turbo i.e., alongside Danilo Tomassini and Stefano Spadoni, as well as Massimo Zanotti and Luca Pelliccioni. Veteran co-driver Livio Ceci will instead sit alongside Gilberto Simonetti.
The Scuderia’s presence extends to the Legend Stars category, where Stefano Camporesi and Cristian Giulianelli will campaign a 1988 Lancia Delta 16V. Among the cars prepared in tribute to the Safari Rally are the crews of Walter Massa-Domenico Mularoni, Marco Casali-Michele Fabbri, Michele Pellegrini-Arianna Palazzi and Andrea Podestà-Matteo Cima. The list also includes Kevin Casadei and Thomas Zanotti, driving a 1994 BMW M3.
The Scuderia’s weekend, however, isn’t limited to Rallylegend. At the Rally Città di Bassano, Valentina Pasini will co-drive for Lorenzo Papalini. Marco Scarponi will be in action in L’Aquila for the Italian Drifting Championship.
In Franciacorta, it’s the karting drivers’ turn, with Alessandro Pedini Amati, Daniel Giliberti and Nicolas Tagliaferri set to compete in the eighth round of the Rotax Max Challenge.
At Monza, for the Italian GT Championship, Emanuel Colombini and Emanuele Zonzini will take to the track in a Mercedes AMG GT3, alongside Luciano Privitelio in a Lamborghini Huracán. Giacomo Altoè, meanwhile, will be in Portimão, Portugal, for the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
