Cosmos keep pace at the top. They beat Tre Fiori 3-0 in the first of two rescheduled matches from matchday four, drawing level with La Fiorita and staying two points behind leaders Pennarossa and Murata. For Franchino’s side, it’s their third consecutive win, and the second without conceding a goal.
The match only opened up at the start of the second half, when Liistro put Cosmos ahead. The result then hung in the balance until the closing minutes: Stolfi doubled the lead in the 60th minute, before Cervellini sealed it in the first minute of stoppage time.
For Tre Fiori, it’s their second defeat of the season. The yellow-and-blues remain on 2 points and now risk being caught or overtaken by Cailungo and Domagnano, both currently on one point. The two sides will face each other tomorrow evening in the final rescheduled match of the round.
