Teatro Titano was packed this morning for a lecture on human geopolitics delivered by Dario Fabbri. On stage, the analyst fielded questions from San Marino RTV journalist Gianmarco Morosini as well as from students of the Scuola Superiore di San Marino — fourth- and fifth-year classes from all the school’s academic tracks.
At the heart of the meeting was the interpretive approach that has become Fabbri’s trademark: reading conflicts and political, social and economic crises by starting from the peoples caught up in them — their demographics, their deep-rooted history — even before considering resources or physical geography.
This was no one-off event. Fabbri and Morosini already work together on San Marino RTV’s program Il Grande Gioco (“The Great Game”), and today’s encounter was effectively its live version, with an audience of students standing in for viewers at home.
