Public sector workers: back pay is on the way, here’s when it will be paid

Pay rises and back payments for around 4,000 San Marino public sector employees are set to arrive following the bridge agreement on contracts. According to information released by FUPI-CSdL, a separate payslip covering the 3% increase for 2025 will arrive by September, calculated on base salary and seniority increments. In October, a further 2% will kick in, bringing the overall increase to 5%. Finally, in November, another round of back pay will be disbursed: this time covering the period January-September 2026, calculated at 2%.
