A weekend rich in results for the San Marino Athletics Academy. At the Riccione Sunset Run, a national Fidal ten-kilometre race, Melissa Michelotti claimed third place in her category with a time of 40’41”, coming close to the San Marino national record. Despite the heat and high humidity, the athlete kept an average pace of 4’04” per kilometre. “I struggled a bit towards the end, but my legs were turning over nicely,” she commented.
At the Italian Masters Championships in Campi Bisenzio, Paola Carinato took silver in the 2,000m steeplechase SF60 category, finishing in 10’30”75.
A fine performance also came from Daniel Lotti at the regional championships in Parma: in the under-16 80 metres, he set a new personal best of 9”83, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.

Silver medal for Paola Carinato at the Italian Masters track championships in Campi Bisenzio. The Italian SF60 record holder completed the 2,000m steeplechase in 10’30”75, finishing second on the podium.
Finally, in Parma, Daniel Lotti improved his own best mark in the under-16 80 metres, stopping the clock at 9”83 — a time that wasn’t quite enough to secure a place in the final, missed by just a few hundredths of a second.
