Sunset dinner, music and charity: Faetano hosts evening with Valentina Monetta and Lorenzo Pagani

A sunset dinner, local flavours, live music and charity converge in Faetano on 26 August for a benefit concert supporting Vivere Meglio.

A sunset dinner, local flavours, live music and, above all, charity. These were the ingredients presented yesterday, Friday 7 August, on the terrace of the InPerfetto bar-restaurant in Faetano, for “Cena Tramonto & Live – Charity Dinner Concert”, an evening organised by the Fun4all association in collaboration with InPerfetto, scheduled for Wednesday 26 August in Piazza della Porta Vecchia, Faetano.

The presentation was attended by Roberto Moretti, known artistically as Moghe, vice president and artistic director of Fun4all; Maurizio Ceccoli, head of the InVolo Social Cooperative and of InPerfetto; Pietro Renzi, secretary of the Faetano Castle Council (Giunta di Castello); and Riccardo Venturini, president of Vivere Meglio – San Marino Diabetics Association.

The idea is to bring together San Marino’s finest artistic and culinary talents, transplanting to Faetano a format previously staged in the historic centre under the name “Cena Tramonto & Show.” This time, however, the setting will be more intimate: an open-air dinner in front of the InPerfetto venue, with the sunset and Mount Titano as a backdrop.

The evening will open with a gourmet buffet curated by chef Davide Bruno and the InPerfetto team, the inclusion-focused project born from an agreement between the Ente Cassa di Faetano and the InVolo Cooperative. Guests will be treated to a variety of dishes paired with wines from Cantina San Marino, with music running as the thread throughout the night.

The highlight of the evening will be a concert by Valentina Monetta and Lorenzo Pagani, on vocals and keyboards/piano and vocals respectively. The two Sammarinese artists will perform together again in San Marino for the first time in eight years. The setlist will feature soul, R&B, jazz, bossa nova and a selection of classic Italian songs. The stage will also feature something rather unusual for a piazza concert: a baby grand piano, around which part of the show will be built.

The evening will be hosted by Sara Bucci. The initiative is held under the patronage of the Faetano Castle Council and is supported by the Ente Cassa di Faetano.

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Vivere Meglio – San Marino Diabetics Association. The menu will also cater to vegetarians, vegans and those with celiac disease. The cost is 45 euros per person, with limited seating and booking required by calling 347 1064518.
