Fuel Prices: Diesel Ticks Up Again, Self-Service Tops €2.10 a Litre

Diesel prices on Italy's roads have edged higher again, hitting their highest level since late July, while petrol prices remain steady.

The average price of diesel is climbing once again on Italy’s road network. According to the latest data from the Mimit Price Observatory, self-service diesel has risen from €2.097 to €2.100 per litre, reaching its highest level since 29 July — the day after the government’s latest excise duty cut came into effect.

Petrol prices, meanwhile, remain stable, holding at €1.999 per litre for self-service on the standard road network.

On the motorway network, petrol prices are unchanged at €2.084 per litre, while diesel stands at €2.173 per litre, essentially in line with the previous day’s figure of €2.174.
