San Marino is joining the Startup World Cup circuit for the first time, the international competition dedicated to young innovative companies. Applications are now open for the San Marino Regional 2026, organized by San Marino Innovation in partnership with Pegasus Tech Ventures, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm.
The San Marino final is scheduled for October 15 at the Kursaal Congress Centre, where ten selected startups will take the stage. Each will have the chance to present its project through an English-language pitch before a panel of experts, investors and representatives of the international innovation ecosystem.
At stake, above all, is a ticket to Silicon Valley: the winning startup will represent San Marino at the Startup World Cup’s global semifinals, set to take place in San Francisco on November 4, 2026, with the chance to qualify for the Grand Finale on November 6. The global winner will receive a one-million-dollar investment prize.
Startups established in the Republic of San Marino, Emilia-Romagna and Marche are eligible to apply. Registrations will remain open until September 13, 2026, through the San Marino Innovation portal.
