SUMS Femminile will take part in the 2026/2027 edition of Christmas of Wonders (Natale delle Meraviglie) with an exhibition of handmade crocheted angels in the Cassa di Risparmio Gallery. The collaboration was confirmed during a visit by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Federico Pedini Amati, who met with the association on Monday, 12 October, at its headquarters on Via Tonnini in San Marino City.
He was welcomed by President Alba Baredi, the board of directors and several members. The meeting provided an opportunity to review last year’s initiatives and discuss plans for the upcoming festive event.
“SUMS Femminile helped bring the historic centre to life through craft markets and the striking ‘Enchanted Forest’ display, made up of artistic trees decorated with fine handmade lace crafted by our members,” the press release recalls.
For the 2026/2027 edition, the association will take on a new project. “The association will curate the setup of the Cassa di Risparmio Gallery with a special exhibition of crocheted angels, once again enriching the event’s programme with creativity, tradition and solidarity.”
During the visit, Pedini Amati praised the day-to-day work carried out by SUMS Femminile. The statement highlights the value of an organisation that “for more than one hundred and twenty-five years has been a point of reference for the San Marino community, combining culture, volunteering and care for the most vulnerable.”
