The chairman of the board of San Marino Rtv, Pasquale Valentini, has welcomed Roberto Sergio’s willingness to continue as general director of the Sammarinese state broadcaster, following the decision taken by Rai’s board of directors.
Valentini noted that he learned of the news through the press and thanked the director on behalf of the board and staff. “Having learned the news from the press, I take note,” said the chairman of San Marino Rtv’s board, Pasquale Valentini, “of the decisions made by Rai’s board regarding the general management of San Marino Rtv, and I welcome Director Roberto Sergio’s willingness to continue in his role. For this, I thank him on my own behalf, as well as on behalf of the board and the staff of San Marino Rtv.”
In the same statement, the chairman pointed to cooperation between the two shareholders as a key step in strengthening the management and role of the public broadcaster: “I hope this circumstance will provide an opportunity to further increase cooperation and engagement between the two shareholders and their respective boards of directors, allowing for continued consolidation of the Sammarinese broadcaster, both in terms of management stability and with regard to the broadcaster’s own objectives.”
