The allure of Monaco doesn’t seem to have won over the Antonelli family. Despite reports of a possible move to the Principality, Marco Antonelli, father of Formula 1 driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli, has for now ruled out a change of residence.
“A move to Monaco? No, we’re fine here. We don’t need to change,” the young driver’s father explained, putting the brakes on rumours that had been circulating about the family’s future.
Antonelli’s name is now firmly tied to the Formula 1 circus, a world in which many drivers have chosen over the years to settle in the Principality of Monaco. For the Italian driver, however, a similar move does not appear to be on the cards at the moment.
His father’s position is clear: despite the international career and the growing number of commitments that come with Formula 1, the Antonelli family currently sees no reason to relocate to Monaco.
