Basket 2000 have won the 2026 edition of the Sammarinese Championship Tim San Marino Cup, beating Cinemuseum 72-52 in the final. For coach Del Bianco‘s side, it is a third consecutive title, following those won in 2024 and 2025.
The final was decided early. Basket 2000 had already surged to a twelve-point lead in the first quarter, closing the opening period at 21-9, and by half-time the margin had grown to sixteen points, 44-28. The trend continued in the second half: 54-37 after three quarters, leaving no room for a comeback.
The MVP award went to Lorenzo Lettoli, a consistent performer throughout the tournament who finished the final with 13 points, including four three-pointers. The night’s top scorer, however, was Riccardi with 16 points, followed by Raschi on 12. For Cinemuseum, Guiducci was the leading scorer with 14.
In the third-place final, the young players of Under-19 Titans defeated the Dogana Ducks 85-68, powered by a 47-point second half. Trailing by two at the break, the Titans found a higher gear — including on defence — to produce the decisive break. Nanni led the way with 25 points and Onofri added 23; for the Ducks, Barrena’s 27 points were not enough.
