Chased and beaten by gang, 16-year-old stabbed on Riviera

A night out at a disco turns violent as two Milanese teenagers are chased and attacked between Bellaria Igea Marina and Torre Pedrera.

A quarrel that began during a night out at a disco spiraled into a chase and a violent assault. The victims were two 16-year-old tourists from Milan, attacked overnight between Friday and Saturday between Bellaria Igea Marina and Torre Pedrera. One of the boys was stabbed in the abdomen, while his friend suffered a broken nose.

According to reconstructions, it all began inside the Beky Bay club, where an argument broke out, possibly over a girl. Once outside, the two teenagers reportedly found themselves facing a group made up of several young people, some of whom allegedly began hitting them.

The pair tried to flee along the seafront but were reportedly chased down and caught. After managing to get away once, they attempted to reach on foot the hotel in Torre Pedrera where one of them was staying with his father.

Near the hotel, a second confrontation with some members of the group reportedly took place. At that point, one of the attackers allegedly pulled out a knife, wounding one of the 16-year-olds in the abdomen, while the other was struck in the face.

The boys managed to reach the hotel and call for help. Emergency medical services (118) and the State Police responded to the scene. The teenager wounded by the knife was taken to the Bufalini Hospital in Cesena and later discharged with a seven-day prognosis; his friend was taken to the emergency room in Rimini.

Police investigations are underway to identify those responsible and to establish the full details of what happened that night.
