The two friendly matches marking the absolute debut of San Marino’s senior women’s national team were announced a few days ago. Today comes another announcement, this time regarding, so to speak, the dress code the Titans will wear for the two crucial matches scheduled between November and December – and, naturally, for those that follow. The women’s national team will wear Erreà: for Giulia Domenichetti’s squad – and specifically designed for them – a double match kit strongly inspired by the San Marino territory has been created.
The Emilian brand itself explains that “Guaita, Cesta and Montale, the Three Towers symbolizing San Marino, are the starting point for the new Home and Away shirts of the women’s national team, designed by Erreà. An element tied to the territory becomes the common thread running through both kits, interpreted through different colours and graphic solutions.
The Home kit, in white and light blue, evokes the Three Towers in their brightest version, drawing inspiration from the pale stone and sky of the San Marino landscape. The light blue details on the collar and cuffs are completed by a double blue stripe, while the shirt body features a tone-on-tone pattern inspired by the towers, woven into the fabric and visible in transparency. The kit has a regular fit.
The Away kit, on the other hand, interprets the same symbol in a more nocturnal key, with blue as the main colour. A vertical tone-on-tone pattern traces the outline of the Three Towers along the shirt body, while a white side insert creates contrast and defines the silhouette. The light blue collar completes the kit, echoing the colours of the national team. The fit is semi-fitted.
Both shirts are made in Future, a fabric developed by Erreà that combines lightness, breathability and durability, designed to ensure high performance and greater attention to environmental impact. The project is part of the company’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint per unit by 30% and increasing the use of recycled and low-impact materials by 20% by 2030.
Completing the kits, the inner neck tape bears the inscription ‘FSGC 1931’, an element celebrating the history of the San Marino Football Federation (Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio).
Two interpretations of the same symbol: the light of white and light blue for the Home kit, the depth of blue for the Away. In both, the Three Towers become an integral part of the design and identity of the women’s national team.”
