Andreina Bartolini is the new deputy secretary of Alleanza Riformista. The appointment was announced by Secretary General Gian Nicola Berti during the party’s central assembly, held on Wednesday, October 21. Bartolini thanked members for their trust and confirmed her willingness to contribute to the party’s activities.
At the heart of the evening’s discussions were the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union and the upcoming review of the state’s draft budget. On the European path, there was broad shared support: for Alleanza Riformista, the agreement represents an opportunity to strengthen the economy, support businesses and widen prospects for young people.
Berti reviewed the main political and institutional events on the horizon. Secretary of State Rossano Fabbri then outlined the work of his Secretariat and the files currently before the Congress of State, ranging from implementation of the Agreement to economic and financial planning, and the competitiveness of San Marino’s economic system.
Fabbri also reported on the mission to Bangkok, undertaken together with his counterpart at the Finance Secretariat on the occasion of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings. He stressed that the talks offered opportunities to strengthen international relations, foster partnerships and showcase the potential of San Marino’s economy.
On the relationship with citizens, council group leader Denise Bronzetti called for stronger political and institutional communication. The request concerns the Government, the ruling majority and the party alike: more coordinated efforts are needed to explain clearly the activities carried out and the results achieved.
Internal organization was also on the agenda. Party president Gessica Comanducci presented the initiatives carried out in recent months and those planned ahead, focusing in particular on the thematic working groups coordinated by Giorgio Felici, tasked with engaging members and developing proposals on the country’s key issues.
Berti also proposed expanding the composition of the central assembly, taking into account requests from several members interested in joining. Through this move, the party aims to boost participation and strengthen its influence over the majority’s decisions and the Government’s action.
