Domagnano defeated San Giovanni 5-1, securing their second consecutive win in the San Marino Futsal Championship. In the third indoor match of matchday five, Fabio Gasperoni’s side built on their previous round’s victory and moved closer to the top of the table. San Giovanni, meanwhile, remain on zero points after five matchdays.
Davide Dolcini opened the scoring in the 17th minute, before Ciarmatori doubled the lead at the 27th, sending the Wolves into the break 2-0 up. In the second half, Menghi struck twice, in the 50th and 52nd minutes, extending the score to 4-0.
San Giovanni pulled one back in the 57th minute through Gracik, making use of a flying goalkeeper and denying Domagnano a clean sheet. Palermino’s side tried the same tactic again, but lost possession in the 60th minute: Dolcini broke away and, with the opposing goal empty, netted the final 5-1, completing his personal brace.
Matchday five wraps up tonight at 10 pm at the Acquaviva sports hall, with Faetano taking on Folgore.
