San Marino’s banking system posted total deposits of €7.275 billion in June 2026, up more than €1 billion in two years, driven mainly by indirect deposits.

More than one billion euros in additional deposits over two years: that is the growth recorded by San Marino’s banking system, which reached 7 billion 275 million euros in June 2026.

As reported by San Marino RTV, citing figures published by the economic weekly Fixing and contained in the Central Bank’s bulletin, the increase compared to March stands at 242 million euros, or 3.4%.

The growth was driven mainly by indirect deposits, which reached 3 billion 554 million euros.

Gross credit exposure to customers also declined, standing at 1.1 billion euros, a drop of 11 million.

Finally, the net equity of the banking system rose to 361 million euros, up two million from March.
