With the arrival of September, one of the most anticipated events on San Marino’s sporting calendar is back. Sport in Fiera, the multidisciplinary showcase organised by the San Marino National Olympic Committee (CONS) in collaboration with the sports federations, returns in 2026 with an even richer programme and numerous new features. From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September, the Serravalle Sports Centre will come alive for three days dedicated to sport, fun and passion, featuring tournaments, exhibitions, shows, activities open to the public and events focused on the world of sport.
WHAT’S NEW
The 2026 edition brings several innovations. For the first time, San Marino’s sports fair will open its doors as early as Friday morning, with a session dedicated to primary school pupils from across the Republic of San Marino. The fair will also be open to the public, who will be able to visit the stands of the federations and sports associations and get to know up close the many organisations that make up San Marino’s sporting scene.
Numerous activities are on the programme, some of which will be revealed in the coming days. A significant entertainment component in the early evening slot has been confirmed for all three days, from Friday through to the close on Sunday. The CONS will also open its own premises, making rooms available to host conferences, cultural meetings and training sessions on various sport-related topics.
Sport in Fiera continues to grow, thanks in part to the support of local San Marino businesses that back and stand alongside the Titano’s sporting movement. Over the course of the weekend, yoga and pilates sessions will be held on the central stage at the Multieventi Piazzale, alongside a morning run and high-intensity circuit training. As usual, the Multieventi swimming pool will also be open free of charge to the public for the entire duration of the event.
RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY
As in 2025, the ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Friday at 6:00 pm, in the presence of institutional representatives, in Piazzale Giovanni Paolo II. The first tournaments and federation exhibitions will already get underway in the afternoon. The fair will officially close at 8:30 pm, but tournaments and activities will continue until their conclusion, with the public also able to enjoy the food stands on site.
