The 2026-27 San Marino Championship got off to a flying start with four wins. In the opening round’s early fixtures, Folgore, Juvenes Dogana, Domagnano and Fiorentino all came out on top.
The headline result belongs to Folgore, who thrashed Murata 5-0 in Acquaviva. New coach Michael Ricci’s side put the match to bed early thanks to goals from Pancotti and Augusto Garcia Rufer, before his brother Azael Garcia Rufer made it three. In the second half, Malaponti and Pierri completed the rout.
Juvenes Dogana also enjoyed a comfortable win, beating Faetano 4-0. The scoring was opened by a Tugliani own goal, though the match remained open until the closing stages. Amadori then took over late on, scoring twice within a minute, while Comuniello added a fourth in stoppage time.
A tighter contest saw Domagnano edge Cailungo 2-1. Ambrosini put the yellow-and-reds ahead after just five minutes, before Persichilli levelled in the 26th. Giacomo Valentini settled it in the second half, and goalkeeper Maggioli sealed the three points by saving a penalty from Bua late on.
Fiorentino also made a winning start, beating San Marino Academy 2-0. Azzurro opened the scoring in the first half, before Benedettini saved a penalty from Nicola Molinari. The Academy struck the woodwork three times in total, but Pintore put the result beyond doubt late in the game.
The opening round of the San Marino Championship continues with Saturday and Sunday’s fixtures, both kicking off at 3pm.
