San Marino gears up for Fair Play Day, hosts unveiled

Maria Rita Morganti and journalist Fabrizio Ferragni will host the ninth edition of World Fair Play Day at Serravalle's Little Tony Auditorium.

Maria Rita Morganti and journalist Fabrizio Ferragni will host the ninth edition of World Fair Play Day, scheduled for Monday, 7 September at 9pm at the Little Tony Multipurpose Auditorium in Serravalle.

The announcement comes from the San Marino National Fair Play Committee (CNSFP), which is finalizing the last details of the event dedicated to promoting the values of fairness and respect in sport.

“The curtain is about to rise on San Marino’s much-anticipated ‘9th edition of World Fair Play Day,’ scheduled for Monday, 7 September 2026 at 9pm at the Little Tony Multipurpose Auditorium in Serravalle, Republic of San Marino,” the statement reads. “The hosts of the evening will be Maria Rita Morganti and journalist Fabrizio Ferragni,” whom the Committee thanks for their availability and cooperation.

The San Marino event was founded in 2017 and has since aimed to promote the principles associated with fair play. The centerpiece of the evening will once again be the 2026 Fair Play Awards ceremony, structured across the various categories set out by the organization.

“The event, launched in 2017, has been warmly received and widely praised over the years for its ability to embody the healthy principles and universal values of Fair Play, which reach their peak during the Awards Ceremony for the various categories of the 2026 Fair Play Awards,” the CNSFP points out.

Invitations for the evening of 7 September have already been sent to San Marino’s civil and sporting institutions. World Fair Play Day has secured the patronage of the Secretariats of State for Education and Culture and for Industry and Sport, the Castle Council of Serravalle, and the San Marino Sports Press Association.

The Committee also extended its thanks to the media partners and sponsors supporting the 2026 edition.
