Summer shows no sign of making way for autumn just yet. The weekend in Emilia-Romagna will once again be marked by intense heat and temperatures well above seasonal averages, with highs in the plains potentially reaching 34-36 degrees.
Outlining the scenario is Roberto Nanni, who notes that weather conditions will remain fully summer-like throughout the weekend. Sunshine and high temperatures are therefore expected to continue dominating into the first days of September.
The situation could change, however, starting September 9. The arrival of more humid currents from the Atlantic could bring increased instability to Emilia-Romagna.
This would usher in a phase with a greater chance of thunderstorms and a gradual easing of the heat. Temperatures are expected to drop, marking the first real shift after this fresh spell of high summer.
